Records are meant to be broken …and this is one that has been smashed. Baby Nathan came with his Mum & Dad (Jennifer & Andrew) for a portrait shoot at our studio in Oakley Rd Luton, to help launch the NICU Calendar Appeal 2012 to help raise funds for Luton & Dunstable’s NICU unit for small & premature babies.
Nathan was born in May 2011 and was only four pounds in weight when he came to Oakley Studios to be photographed . Jennifer said , “the staff at the L&D NICU unit were very friendly & helpful” , “we are still a bit in shock to have a premature baby” , “It was very strange going to register his birth when he shouldn’t be here yet.”
Last year with the help from the families and friends of our 2011 calendar babies , we sold 300 calendars , with £1250 being raised for the NICU Appeal. The Appeal total funds currently stand at £352,500.
