Where is the studio?
We are based at 39 Emerald Road on the Luton and Dunstable border — out of town, easy to find, and with free on-site parking. Full directions are sent to you when you book.
What are your opening hours?
Our studio is open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm. All visits are by appointment only, so you always have our full, undivided attention. Call us on 01582 491499 to book your session.
Do you have parking available?
Yes, free on-site parking is available. We are in a residential area so we ask that you park close to our driveway and keep neighbours' driveways clear. Full details are provided with your booking confirmation.
What is best to wear?
Smart professional clothing that reflects your industry and makes you feel confident works best. We provide outfit guidance during the booking process and are happy to advise — just ask. A style guide is also available on request.
How many images do you take?
We take as many shots as needed to capture the very best results. You then choose your favourite images at the end of your session, so you only ever pay for the ones you love.
How much do professional headshots cost?
Packages start from £99 for a 30-minute session including two digital files, up to £279 for a one-hour session with ten web-ready images plus a print-ready version. All packages include expert guidance on posing, lighting and presentation.
How long does a headshot session take?
Option 1 is a 30-minute session. Options 2 and 3 are one-hour sessions. You choose and approve your favourite images at the end of your appointment — everything is designed to be quick, efficient and stress-free.
Can you do headshots for my whole team?
Yes. We offer team headshot sessions for businesses of all sizes, both at our studio and at your premises for larger teams. Call us on 01582 491499 or email info@oakleystudios.co.uk to discuss your requirements.
Will my headshots work on LinkedIn and my website?
Absolutely. All digital files are provided web-ready and optimised for LinkedIn, business websites, social media profiles, press releases and marketing materials. Higher packages also include one print-ready version.
I'm nervous about being photographed — is that normal?
Completely normal, and you would not be the first
David and Sue will put you at ease from the moment you arrive. The studio environment is calm and relaxed, and we guide you through every step so you always look your best.
This is a superb professional photo service. Their friendliness makes you relax before the photoshoot. The shoot was great and the photographer will make you look as good as possible. Just be sure to wear something you're comfortable with. After the session, you get to go through all of your shots and choose the best shots to take away. I received my photos quickly.
