We're David and Sue Doyle, and our purpose-built garden studio on the Luton and Dunstable border has been welcoming families, newborns, children, couples, and individuals since 1990.
We've photographed weddings, new arrivals, children's first years, and multi-generational family celebrations. Some of the babies we photographed in those early years are now bringing their own babies to us — and that never gets old.

Our gift vouchers give you access to our fully equipped, purpose-built garden studio on the Luton and Dunstable border — with both indoor and outdoor shooting areas to make every photoshoot session as creative and comfortable as possible.
Inside, we offer a range of backdrops and lighting setups suited to formal family portraits, newborn photography, children's sessions, and more. Outdoors, our beautiful garden studio has been carefully developed with multiple settings — children especially love the freedom to move around, and our hedgehog seats have become firm favourites.
Don't worry about the weather — we always have a Plan B, so your portrait session will go ahead whatever the day brings.

Where is the studio?
Our photography studio is situated on the Luton and Dunstable border at 39 Emerald Road, Luton, Bedfordshire. We're easy to find, tucked away from the town centre in a peaceful residential setting, with free on-site parking for all visitors. All sessions are by appointment only.We are based on the Luton & Dunstable borders, out of town and really easy to find with free parking.
What are your opening hours?
Our studio hours are generally Monday through to Saturdays 9.00 a.m. till 6.00 pm. However, due to the nature of our work and the flexibility required these may vary- all visits to our studio are by appointment only.
Do you have parking available?
Yes — free parking is available at the studio. We'll send you full details closer to your appointment. We're also happy to accommodate any mobility requirements, so please just let us know when you book.
What is best to wear?
Smart casual, colour-coordinated outfits usually work beautifully for family portraits — but every photoshoot is different. With 35 years of experience, we're on hand to advise, and we also have a complimentary style guide we can send out before your session.
How many people can we have in the photoshoot?
We specialise in multi-generational family portraits — our record is 26 people in a single session! We can accommodate larger groups using our outdoor garden studio (weather permitting). If you're planning a big family shoot, just mention it when booking so we can prepare the perfect setup.
How many images do you take?
We take as many images as your session requires — the number varies depending on group size and the combinations you'd like. If there's a particular image or group arrangement you have in mind, just let us know before your shoot and we'll make sure to capture it.
Will my photoshoot gift vouchers have an expiry date?
No — our photoshoot gift vouchers do not expire. Life gets busy, so take your time. When you're ready to book your portrait session at our Luton and Dunstable border studio, we'll be here.
